Premium Relocation Management
Your Personal "Concierge" Service in Budapest
Obtaining the residence permit is just the first step. The real challenge begins after arrival: navigating the real estate market, education system, and bureaucratic mazes of a foreign country. First Immigration's relocation team works to ensure this transition is seamless.
Real Estate: Renting or Buying? As independent experts, we help find the home of your dreams. We are not real estate agents, but your advisors. Whether it involves purchasing a villa in Buda for investment purposes or renting a luxury downtown apartment, we pre-screen the market, conduct negotiations, and legally verify contracts so that no surprises befall you.
Family Integration We know that moving is hardest for children. We know all of Budapest's international schools and kindergartens (British, American, German, French systems). We assist in the admission process and institution selection so that your children receive the best education.

Who Do We Recommend Our Packages For?
Our service is modular, thus fitting every life situation:
-
For families: Where school, a safe neighborhood, and healthcare are the priorities.
-
For Corporate Executives (Expat): For whom time is most expensive, and who expect a "turnkey" solution (immediate internet, furnished apartment).
-
For investors: Who combine settlement with real estate purchase and need full legal and land registry administration.
The Role of First Immigration: We are your local tour guides in bureaucracy. While others only ask for the "address" for the papers, we help you obtain that address. Our dedicated relocation manager guides you through the tasks of the first weeks.
The Privileges of Citizenship
-
Legal Security: Our lawyer verifies every lease or purchase contract. No hidden clauses.
-
Time Saving: We only show you screened, relevant properties. We do not waste your time with unnecessary rounds.
-
Local Knowledge: We know which district is safe, where transport is good, and where the best schools are.
-
Follow-up: We do not disappear after the move-in. We help with utility transfers, internet installation, finding cleaning staff.
The Timeline of Arrival
Clarifying Expectations
Before traveling, we assess your needs in a video call: Which district do you prefer? What kind of school is needed? What is the budget?
Property Hunt
We comb the market and send you the best 3-5 options. Upon request, we create a video tour or organize a personal viewing day upon your arrival.
The Legal Guarantee
We negotiate with the owner regarding the rent or purchase price. We prepare a bilingual contract included in a notarial deed, which protects your rights.
Paperwork
Possession of the address allows us to immediately handle the Address Card, Tax ID, and Social Security (TAJ) number. We accompany you to the bank to open an account, where an English-speaking administrator awaits.
Fine-tuning
Transfer of utilities, internet/TV installation, arranging parking permit, taking out insurance. We ensure that everything works.
Questions About Settling In
Q1: Can you help with opening a bank account? Yes. We have partnerships with the largest Hungarian banks prepared to receive foreign clients. We assist with appointment booking and document preparation so that account opening happens in a single visit.
Q2: How long does it take to find an apartment? Usually, we manage to find and contract the appropriate property within 1 week of arrival, thanks to preliminary screening. We recommend starting our collaboration 2-3 weeks before arrival.
Q3: Do I need to naturalize my driving license? This depends on where you arrive from. EU licenses are accepted, but for third-country licenses, naturalization is often necessary after 1 year. We assist with this at the Document Office as well.
Q4: Do you help with health insurance? Yes. Insurance is mandatory for the residence permit. We help choose from private insurers' packages or, in case of employment, with the administration of Hungarian state social security (TAJ).
Start Your New Life Comfortably
Do not spend your first weeks in Budapest with administration. Leave the logistics to us.
